For the longest time, it seems that African Americans are lagging behind in almost every statistical poll there is when it comes to poor test scores amongst children, higher paying jobs, high-school graduation rate, good credit and home ownership to name a few. Of course, the media points out very well that we are leading the polls with the number black men in prison, teens in prison, high foreclosure rate , poor credit scores and the list goes on and on…

Success Is About An Attitude!

Ask anyone if they want to be successful and you’ll get a “yes” every time. However, what exactly does the word mean? According to Webster, success means, “a:degree or measure of succeeding b: favorable or desired outcome; also: the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence”. Basically, it means that whatever goals you set for yourself and accomplish, they can be counted as having a favorable result or being successful.
