Can you still make money flipping houses? New laws and requirements have made it almost impossioble to get the deal touted by Ron Legrand and others just a few short years ago, but there are still opportunities for the smart investor.
Here are just a few ways you can flip houses. Each flipping opportuniy has it’s own terms, motivation, and property types that fit each model. Retailing houses: You buy a house that's in bad shape, do the repairs to fix it up, and then turn around and sell it. There are rules in place that require you own the property for a period of time, usually six months, before you can sell it to a buyer getting a FHA insured loan. |

The Cheapest Real Estate on the Market
Where is the cheapest Real Estate on the market? The houses or apartments needing the most work. Don't get me wrong, when I started investing I didn't want to do any work to the property. I would buy and start renting it out right away. One problem; I paid for someone elses work, which equals to top dollar price. What I am going to tell you may surprise or scare new investors.
When you start investing in houses, look for ugly or run down houses that need a lot of work. These houses are going to be cheaper to purchase. |
