The Black Business America Pledge!
For the longest time, it seems that African Americans are lagging behind in almost every statistical poll there is when it comes to poor test scores amongst children, higher paying jobs, high-school graduation rate, good credit and home ownership to name a few. Of course, the media points out very well that we are leading the polls with the number black men in prison, teens in prison, high foreclosure rate , poor credit scores and the list goes on and on…
While statistics do point to areas that we as a race need to address, talking and pointing out the issues alone have not and will not make things better. As African Americans, we must understand that we have the power and control over our lives and we must make a difference in ourselves and for our people in this 21st century.
The BBA Pledge is a call to action of all African Americans to have faith and commitment in themselves to implement 12 positive and powerful principles that will assist them in reaching their full potential.
The BBA Pledge is simply a way to commit in writing that you will implement changes in your life that will lead you to a higher place.
Challenge yourself to take the pledge and encourage your family, friends and those you come in contact with to do the same. We can make a difference and it starts with a pledge!
