Making the BBA Pledge Real in Your Life!

Anyone can read a list of principles and sign a piece of paper to pledge to those principles. However, we created the BBA Pledge to be more than just a list of principles. We created the BBA Pledge, because we have recognized that African Americans are people of greatness, people with a rich heritage, people that are already rich in spirit and people that must stop allowing everyone else to take advantage of them in every way imaginable.

It is time to join in a movement that is very real and cuts deep to the heart and allows us all to take the shackles realized and unrealized off of our minds and claim our wealth, our dignity, our pride and our heritage.

Just think, if you can make a difference in your life by implementing the 12 principles of the BBA Pledge, you can show other brothers and sisters how to do the same (“each one, teach one”). Therefore, it is important to make the pledge real in your life by making a commitment to sit down and review the pledge, taking every principle serious enough to put into action. • Review the pledge thoroughly and read the pledge description, which gives you a breakdown of each pledge.

• Download and print the full color BBA Pledge as a reminder of your commitment to yourself and your people.

• Visit the BBA Pledge Center frequently for encouragement, resources and updates. Download worksheets, read how-to articles, read summaries of suggested books and much more!

• Participate in the BBA Pledge section on the BBA message board.

• Have a pledge party and read the pledge to your friends and share how it is changing your life

• Consider coordinating a pledge round table consisting of associates and friends that have taken the pledge.
