Service or Product Page
The service or product page provides information about your company services or products in a manner that will have your visitors wanting to know more, making a purchase or contacting you for a quote. If you have a few services or products (one to four) most companies will allow customers to navigate to each page right from the menu bar.

However, if you plan on having multiple services or products with sub-services or products, it’s best to have a menu link that says, “services” or “products” and when visitors land on the page they serve as mini home pages for their category leading or navigating the user to topic-specific pages.

Information Pages
Information pages provide useful content about a particular subject. This page usually (but not always) includes links within the text that lead to other pages or websites as well.

Article Pages
Some companies may choose to educate their site visitors about a specific service or product top and do so by loading articles to their website. These articles can be written by the company owners/staff members or they can be taken (free or fee-based) from sites that specialize in providing content to websites. Some companies also invite experts to write articles for their sites with a promise to give them a byline with full credits and links back to their website.

Links or Resource Page
Links or resource pages are common to many websites. This type of page usually carries links that lead to other resources and websites that fall within the topic of the website or services/products site visitors might be seeking.

While providing useful links is certainly helpful to your visitors, it’s always a good idea to ask the website owners/publishers you are referring your visitors to if they will link to your site also.
